Music and audio have always been a big part of Mike’s life since as far back as he can remember. Voice tracking for another local station several years ago sparked his radio interest. Back in the day, he cruised the miracle mile in a real muscle car (a 1973 Dodge Charger 440 with a police interceptor motor) unlike today’s Park Avenue toys, and listening to Billy Idol’s Rebel Yell cranked up on the 8 track.

Hosting the Saturday Night Flashback was only fitting since he is stuck in 70’s & 80’s music, big hair, and muscle cars. “You’re only as old as you feel, so listening to the music I grew up with makes me feel young again; and being a part of the MIX 106.1 crew is both a pleasure and an honor”

Besides Saturday Night, Mike also hosts the Sunday afternoon drive 10:00 pm – 2:00 pm. His duties don’t stop there; he also runs the soundboard for the high school games and pushes NASCAR out to the airwaves when needed.

When he is not working at the station, Mike works for his mobile DJ service Creative Sounds Entertainment; but most importantly, he enjoys time spent with his wife Heidi and his 2 children, Jessica & Stephen.  However, 3 hours on Sundays must be set aside for his Cleveland Browns.
