Julia A. Dicks, 67 yrs. of age, of 5058 Stetzer Rd., Bucyrus died on Monday at home, her death was unexpected following a lengthy illness. Julia was born Sept. 24, 1942 in McCarr Ky. to the late Frank and Mildred (Ratliff) Sweeney. She was married Sept. 12, 1969 to Freddie B. Dicks who survives. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brother Bobby Sweeney and nephew Steven Cramer.

Mrs. Dicks is also survived by daughters Tammy (Dicks) Kreiger of Shelby; Loretta (Todd) Pennington of Ft. Campbell, KY; sisters Loretta (Gilbert) Johnson of Bucyrus and Brenda (Chuck) Melvin both of Bucyrus.

Mrs. Dicks was a homemaker and lived most of her life in the community. She enjoyed gardening, travel, and going to the beach.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday at 1:00 pm in the Munz-Pirnstill Funeral Home, burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Saturday from 12:00 noon until the time of service. The family suggests memorials be made to the American Cancer Society through the funeral home.
