As part of the Ashland County Investment Advisory Board, the Ashland County commissioners Thursday heard from Ashland County treasurer Cindy Funk who said the county is holding its own.

Funk said interest earned on investments is at a little more than $77,500, down more than $98,000 from last year at the same time, a decrease of nearly 56 percent.

Funk said she's now revising her investment earnings outlook for the entire year. She said her previous estimate of interest income of $200,000 will not be met. She is now estimating the figure to be $165,000.
