The family of the late Candice Williams carries on her tradition of community service through the Helping Hands Foundation.

On Thanksgiving Day, the Friendly House in Mansfield was filled with community members who enjoyed a turkey dinner, as well as companionship. The volunteers prepared food for hundreds of people and delivered meals to the elderly and shut-ins.

Candice Williams was killed in an automobile accident six years ago at the age of 19. But her mother, Theresa Williams, and her family, have been honoring the memory of her for five years now, by feeding those in need on Thanksgiving Day.
