A male breast cancer survivor spoke at Bucyrus Elementary School Wednesday about cancer awareness.

Ron Coleman is one of one-percent of American males who are diagnosed with breast cancer. He also happens to be the father of Ohio State University football captain Kurt Coleman.

Coleman said people use to think of cancer as the big "C" and in terms of it being a death sentence. But he says it isn't a death sentence because you're empowered by the knowledge you have and you can use that, not only for yourself, but for others.
