The Ohio World Organization of China Painters Annual Convention got underway Friday at the Quality Inn and Suites at Ohio 97 and Interstate 71 near Bellville.

State China Painters President Erna Mastney said the two-day convention features hand decorated china and items for sale.

The convention also offers classes on china painting. The convention runs Saturday from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m.
