Seven people were injured in a two-vehicle accident Friday afternoon at the intersection of U.S. 42 and Ohio 61 in Morrow County.

The Mount Gilead post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol says a car driven by Billy Hall, 67, of Willard turned left from U.S. 42 onto Ohio 61 in front of an oncoming sport utility vehicle driven by Mary Dye, 39, of Mount Gilead.

Hall and his two passengers, Ron Hall of Willard and Pauline Holmes, all were flown by medical helicopter to Grant Medical Center in Columbus.

Dye and three of her passengers were injured. Dye and Brooke Howard, 17, of Mount Gilead were taken to Morrow County Hospital. Georgia High, 65 and Lisa Howard, 19, both of Mount Gilead, were flown to Grant Medical Center.

A citation is pending in the accident.
