A trial date has been set for Mansfield City Schools Supt. Dr. Lloyd Martin and Director of Human Resources Patricia Robinson.

Martin and Robinson are scheduled to appear May 7 for a bench trial before Mansfield Municipal Judge Jeff Payton.

They are charged with obstructing official business, a second-degree misdemeanor, for reportedly hindering a police investigation involving Springmill Intermediate Teacher Anita Reehal. They have pleaded innocent.

If convicted they could face up 90 days in jail and a $1,000 fine.

Mansfield Police Detective Jeff Shook criticized the administration for not supplying the information for his investigation in a timely manner.

Reehal was placed on paid administrative leave Feb. 3 for reportedly talking to students about sex acts and not maintaining discipline.
