House Bill 49 Impacting Local Court Systems

ASHLAND, OH - Ashland Municipal Court Judge John Good is sounding off on House Bill 49 and how it may affect Ohio and local court systems.

House Bill 49 is the biannual budget bill for Ohio which essentially funds the entire state government for fiscal years 2018 and 2019.

Judge Good says judges across the state are concerned are some of the budgetary provisions for the Ohio Department of Rehabilitation and Corrections that are undermining sentencing laws in Ohio for financial reasons.
