ASHLAND, OH– Ashland University’s Fashion Merchandising program will hold its annual fashion show on Sunday, December 3, from 12:00 to 3:00 PM in Myers Convocation Center on the Ashland University campus.

The event, themed “Spotlight on Style,” will feature the latest trends in style being modeled for different social events. The fashion show is for ages 18 to 60 and the cost is $5 per person.

"The December 3rd show is a showcase on trends for Fall 2017 and Spring 2018. Spotlight on Style will capture styles for the ages of 18 to 60 and give them an upper hand for upcoming social events,” said Gaby Northeim, marketing and public relations chair for the show. This show has a style and an event for everyone, from how to dress for a brunch to a girls' night out. You will not just be sitting in your seat, but able to interact with us and the models to enhance your styling experience."

Ashland University’s Fashion Merchandising program is part of the Dauch College of Business and Economics. These students are immersed in classes such as fashion analysis, textiles and fashion evolution as well as business courses in marketing and management. Students are given the opportunity to study in New York or Paris to help prepare them for a career in merchandising, buying, retail management and more.
